Misty Moncur is the author of ten young adult novels based on a faith-filled story in The Book of Alma. Her characters are filled with curiosity about life and relationships, faith during a time of war, imperfections, and generosity of spirit.

Misty spent her university years studying English, grammar, storytelling, theme, and deconstruction of plot. Her love of archaeology and scripture led her to historical fiction. Misty's first novel, Daughter of Helaman, was nominated for a Whitney Award in 2012, and her subsequent novels are favorites among many.

Misty is an active writer, but has switched her focus to editing. She enjoys helping other writers achieve their writing goals and realize their publishing dreams. She believes every voice is unique and valuable.
